Ok first off, if you're use to a 40 mm watch or larger, then this watch is going to look very small from what you're use to. But give it a few days of wrist time. It seems like you get use to the size. Although it is roughly the same diameter as the 1953, it does not feel like it. At first. Now that the size has been addressed, this watch is beautiful. The lume is top notch. At 4 in the morning, I can still see the time. It is a no frill watch. No day, no date. Just time. The bracelet is well constructed. Easy to adjust with the tool they send with the watch. Durability wise, I'd put it up against any automatic watch that touts durability. NH35 movement is a proven workhorse movement that will last for years without service. Recently went winter camping in northern Minnesota and it handled subzero temps with no problem. If you're looking for a tool/dress watch, look no further.
